Bluewater Adventures is fully committed to the principles of Ecotourism. As a responsible ecotour operator, Bluewater Adventures supports local communities and coastal First Nations, and contributes to increasing knowledge of wildlife through research and the efforts of local non-profit conservation and scientific groups. By supporting conservation and habitat protection we hope to ensure long-term sustainability for our operations and future generations.

In addition to working closely with various government - federal, povincial and First Nations - who manage parks and protected areas along the coast of British Columbia and Alaska, we have signed sustainability/ protocol agreements with coastal First Nations to support their economic development and stewardship.

We continue to offer trips of the highest quality, while maintaining the Bluewater vision, and we’d like to ensure that our guests understand how their fares contribute to these efforts. Bluewater Adventures collects $100 from each guest to contribute to increased conservation and research, First Nations environmental monitoring and stewardship, and engaging with government on development issues. Our guests can share in the pride, knowing that travelling with Bluewater Adventures contributes directly to the sustainability of the coast.
