What is the Best Way to Travel – for You?

Posted on

We are well into our 2025 booking season and we see increased interest in Southeast Alaska and Haida Gwaii. With only 4 departures visiting Alaska, spaces are booking quickly – so don’t delay in reserving your space. Haida Gwaii is an exceptional expedition that operates from May through August. With more dates to choose from and 2 ships we can help you find what works best for you.

Family and friends charter trips are also on the rise with more people opting to enjoy an expedition together. Over the last few years, people have discovered that traveling with your small group of friends and family, exclusively, is unmatchable in memory-making. You get to experience our curated itineraries that are tailored to your group at reduced rates. 2025 charter opportunities are filling up – Please contact us for more information.

Getting off the beaten path continues to be an important component in choosing travel these days. Our North Coast / Khutzeymateen Grizzly Sanctuary expedition visits one of the most unique places we access.

“It was a magical trip with a great crew and fellow passengers. A trip that I will never forget. Still processing all that we experienced: great wild life, conversation, education and food. I look forward to the next Bluewater Adventures trip!”

Its remoteness is due, in part, to the very few operators who have permits to enter the estuary where opportunities to view grizzlies are some of the best in the world. Our group size is capped at only 10 guests to reduce our impact on the bears’ natural behaviours. The Khutzeymateen has yet to land on the wildlife viewing map. Be one of the few to explore this raw and remote Valley of the Bears in Spring 2025.

If you are travelling solo, anything goes. Bluewater Adventures expeditions draw in the adventurous traveler looking for an expedition led by professional mariners and naturalists. We will match you with a traveler of the same gender – we can even connect the two of you in advance to acquaint yourselves with one another.
